Date: December 2024 – February 2025
We were excited to be asked by Paulton’s park to design and build a number of themed props and features for the queue line of their new Ghostly Manor dark ride, which opened in May 2025.
The features included 2 animated picture frames for which we created a new garderner ghost character, a concrete sculpted well, a bespoke built display cabinet with small animated ghost jars, a pressure chamber with mechanical and lighting effects and a large animated ghost chamber, which contains visuals of their key ghost character Ojee.
The highlight of the project was building a large stone statue of the main character, Dr Benjamin Kindley.
For this we took the 3D model used for the promotional and on ride animated content and made adaptions to be able to create parts from mixture of 3D printing, CNC milling and hand sculpted elements.
These parts were all hand finished, molded and cast in FR fibreglass then finshed with the stone effect paint finish.
This was a great project to work on, and the guys at Paulton’s have done an awesome job of the ride, landscaping and other themed areas.
