We created 9 unique installations on behalf of We Are Weymouth and Dorset Council for the new Jurassic Fossil Trail for 2025.
The installation launched in February as part of Weymouth’s Dinosaur Week, a week of themed activities around the town, influenced by the local Jurassic coast.
We hand sculpted 9 fossil inspired concrete pieces that are displayed at various locations around Weymouth, all hand painted and built to withstand the elements, as the larger pieces were to be displayed outside.
They each include plaques with QR codes that you can scan to learn facts about our Jurassic past, offering a fascinating glimpse into creatures that roamed Dorset millions of years ago.
