For Boomtown 2019 we were asked to create a concept design for the upgraded Scrapyard stage and arena. Being a Scrapyard, it was to incorporate all sorts of junk into the design, as well as pyrotechnics and av screens.
We also had to consider the internal scaffold design which would hold the set and make use of shipping containers as part of the set and DJ booth.
It was great to go down to the arena during the festival and see what the onsite build team had done with the final set., a cracking job and popular with the crowds.
