Madame Tussauds contacted us to create a themed backdrop for the Groot wax work, as part of a wider revamp of the Marvel Exhibit at their London site. The backdrop was to be based on a scene in the new Guardians of the Galaxy 3 movie, and was to surround a projection screen. We built the set in 3D, then CNC’d the parts in fire resistant MDF, before adding scenic paint finishes and dressing with concrete sculpted rocks.
