We have had a great time since 2018 working with Boomtown and developing designs and sets for Area 404, but with a hectic schedule of other projects throughout the year and having the launch of Sticks & Bones due for summer we were unable to commit to the time needed to plan the build for 2024.
We did manage to squeeze in the re-build of the large Titan sculpture in the centre of the district which was great fun the second time around.
With a new team of artists working on the overall set design of 404 and adding additional colour and themes we had a chance to re-paint the sculpture with a more vibrant, metallic theme and added in muralled mech details.
It was great to work with Steve Lewis who had taken on the role of 404 SDM for the 2024 festival and beyond, his team did a mega job of the build!
