After the success of the Safari Arch we were asked to return to Casela Park with our team to develop the design and build of the new Discovery Centre, which would be a reception building to the park. The building would have ticket queues, info points, café and a 4D cinema and would also act as the main hub for the various activities through out the park. Going with a Savannah theme (which was suited to the range of wildlife within the park), we created artificial trees, rockwork and carvings along with some incredible murals painted by our team.
The local team who we worked with on the Safari Arch joined us for the build and did some great work with the cement carvings, trees etc. We also created 2 large statues of a rhino and lion, which to this day are used everyday by the thousands of visitors as a photo opportunity.
