We were asked to design and build a number of interactive features at the Tank Museum in Dorset, UK ready for the 2022 Easter holidays.
First, we were asked to build a small play table, which children could use to play with toy soldiers, and was to show a rugged landscape.
Secondly, the guys at the museum came up with a unique twist on the Battleships format, which is more suited to the tactical use of tanks, from which we created a fun oversized board for the museum.
We took the idea and designed the board based on a tactical map and built the large playing pieces which are moved around with bespoke made plotting rods.

The final feature was a replica tank cockpit to show visitors how cramped things can get inside of the vehicles. For this we included a few interactive features, such as a lever, pedals and periscope, all with triggered sound effects.
