As part of our design package, particularly with sets, scenery and themed displays, it can be useful to create a computer-generated model which is built to scale using measurements from CAD drawings and onsite surveys. These models help us to understand the overall concept and discover, at an early stage, which content will work for the space.
When we create a 3D design, you can see almost exactly what the final product will look like.

This approach can be useful for complex structures, where it is important to be able to visualise and adjust exact sizes before construction begins.
Below is a 3D design we produced for Nautilus Attraction Developments, who were creating a large-scale dive experience for The Bear Grylls Adventure. Because the venue would be filled with water, it was especially important that the everyone understood how the space would work.

Once a model is built, it is then a very simple process to edit the design (such as to change colours immediately), rather than having to go back to the drawing board as with an illustration.
We are able to offer our clients an in-depth Design Document, with detailed illustrations, high resolution renders of the CGI model (to scale) and any other additional technical specifications required for the project.
Our clients are then able to visit the project in Virtual Reality, giving them the closest representation of the project currently possible, being able to see a true visual reference to scale, layout and content population, before even a single foundation has been laid.
The below flythrough of the 3D design we created for Denbossa Club shows the kind of experience our clients can get when exploring the space in Virtual Reality:
