We spoke with Dead Walk Designs’ trusty maker-of-marvels Felix about some of his favourite themed things to build!
Q: What is your role at Dead Walk Designs?
Felix: Hoovering! Not really. I do a bit of everything. Shaun says to make it, and I try and make it!
Q: What has been your favourite Dead Walk Designs project to work on?
Felix: The carousel for the Tank Museum, definitely. It was my baby from start to finish!
Q: What has been the most unusual Dead Walk Designs project you’ve worked on?
Felix: I think it’s got to be the Gates of Hell escape room. Not every day you get involved in making a devil dog that has to be stabbed in the neck!
Although the a project that’s coming up next might top that…
Q: What would your dream project be?
Felix: Anything in the Caribbean. Anything in the Caribbean that isn’t made out of MDF.
Q: What has been your favourite piece of work for Dead Walk Designs?
Felix: Making the Marie Tussauds exhibition for Madame Tussauds was quite satisfying, just because of the location. It’s quite nice to say you’ve got a piece of work in an iconic attraction!
Another favourite thing I’ve done for Dead Walk Designs, because it’s quite comical, is the big jungle doors for Eltham Escape Rooms!
